The Joint Meeting of the American Society of Reclamation Sciences (ASRS; formerly the American Society of Mining & Reclamation) and the Appalachian Regional Reforestation Initiative (ARRI) will be held in the Knoxville Convention Center in downtown Knoxville, June 2-5, 2024. Our conference theme, “Reclamation in Diverse Settings,” highlights our ongoing work of thinking more broadly about the sorts of spaces we deal with as reclamationists—yes, we still care deeply about mining-influenced landscapes, but lands and waters beyond mining need our attention as well. We welcome your company or organization to join us in Knoxville to share and hear about researching, practicing, and teaching reclamation, across diverse spaces and settings.

Student Travel Grant Support:
ASRS offers Student Travel Grants for students that are participating in the conference with either an oral, poster or film presentation. We are soliciting your support for this program. Your company will receive special recognition during the Student Awards Luncheon, and your company’s name and logo will be featured on a slide during student award presentations. Your company logo will also be in the conference program and on the conference website for a period starting one month prior to the Knoxville conference and up until one prior to the 2025 conference.
